UV energy meter

INQUIRY
1 UV energy meter is used to measure the UV energy of different light sources, especially for printing machines. UV energy meter ensures the ideal quality control during printing and drying.
The energy meter can measure the spectral range of 250-410 nanometers, and the best peak spectral output of induction is 365 nanometers.
The relative value of the amount of incident light is added during the exposure cycle.
Due to the irregular radiation distribution of the light source, and different manufacturers have different structural designs. So that under the same measurement conditions, different readings may appear.
2 operating instructions
Each time you use it, please turn the switch of the instrument to the ON position, that is, the “ON” position. The reading displayed on the LCD screen is “0” mj / cm2 (mJ / cm2). Before taking a measurement, zero its reading.
If your process requires it in particular, you can also make repeated measurements. The readings after each measurement do not need to be reset to zero. Then, the readings displayed on the instrument * will be the cumulative value of multiple repeated measurements.
When the measurement is completed, you need to turn the switch to the "OFF" position in order to turn off the instrument in a timely manner. Correct operation will effectively extend the battery life of the instrument.

3 How to use
1. Turn the switch on the right side of the energy meter to the ON position, that is, the “ON” position. At this time, the display will show the number “0” mj / cm2 (mJ / cm2).
2. To prepare for measurement, face the sensor window of the energy meter to the UV light source to ensure the validity of the measurement.
3. After the instrument has been irradiated with the light source for a certain period of time, the measured UV energy has been recorded. At this time, the energy value can be read from the display on the front of the instrument. The corresponding unit of energy value is: mj / cm2 Cm2).
4. Each time, when performing a new measurement, turn off the instrument as needed and then turn it on again. The display will readjust to "0" mj / cm2 (mJ / cm2). You can then continue with the steps above.

4 notes
1. Avoid shaking the instrument frequently or breaking it;
2. After each measurement is completed, please close the instrument in time and put it back in the box for storage;
3. When measuring, please do not look directly at the UV light source, to avoid exposed skin from strong light radiation;
4. When measuring, please avoid placing the LCD screen on the front of the instrument in strong light or high heat environment.
