About product
The YQD-B Whiteness Meter, also known domestically as brightness meter, whiteness tester and whiteness measuring instrument, is widely used in papermaking, textile, printing and dyeing, plastics, ceramics, enamel, grain, building materials, paint, chemical industry, salt industries and other production & commodity inspection departments requiring whiteness detection. It can also test the transparency, opacity, light scattering coefficient and light absorption coefficient of paper.
Application
This instrument is mainly used to measure the whiteness of paper, paperboard, pulp, chemical fiber pulp, cotton, chemical fiber, textiles, plastics, ceramics, enamel, starch, salt, white cement, kaolin, talc powder and other substances. It also detects optical properties such as opacity of thin sheet materials.
1.Measure the blue light diffuse reflectance factor (R457) of samples, namely blue light whiteness or ISO Brightness.
2.Detect fluorescent whitening agents contained in samples and determine fluorescent whiteness generated by fluorescence emission.
3.Test the luminance stimulus value Y10 of samples, i.e. green light diffuse reflectance factor Ry.
4.Determine sample opacity, transparency, light scattering coefficient and light absorption coefficient.
5.Measure ink absorption value of paper and paperboard.
